We will never stop fighting for our clients, to pursue late/nonpayers and get their invoices paid.
Equally we will never stop talking about it at every opportunity, to debunk myths and inaccuracies, so that small business owners take proactive practical steps and precautions. Cash is our lifeblood. We need to talk about it more openly and reinforce our systems and operations to protect it. This is our commitment and our mission.
While most small or medium sized businesses have a financial controller, they rarely have the scale to justify a full time credit control specialist. Many people feel awkward about chasing their customers to pay on time, and as a result it simply isn't done. Good credit control requires specialist skills together with the right systems and processes. Regular, polite contact with customers ensures that any issues are identified and resolved before the payment becomes due. 2013
Start of My Credit Controllers
In 2013 Samantha White , having long believed that small businesses need better help with collecting payment from customers, set up My Credit Controllers a new business offering Credit Control as a subcontracted service.
2015
Expansion of Business
We moved into our first office and expanded our team.
2016
Developing Tools to Further Help our Clients
My Credit Controllers has launched a new web tool to help affected businesses calculate the compensation they are owed by late-paying customers.
We think the right to add charges to late invoices should be more widely known. For that reason we’ve provided instructions for others who want to add the calculator widget to their own websites.
2018
We Grew AGAIN!
Credit control and debt recovery experts, My Credit Controllers Ltd has relocated to new, larger offices to accommodate the company's growth in staff numbers.
2019
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of My Credit Controllers, Samantha White has been elected Area Leader for Lincolnshire at the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB)
According to FSB Chairman, Mike Cherry, local volunteers provide the FSB with a strong campaigning voice – locally and nationally by drawing upon their own personal experience in business.
Working alongside FSB Development Manager, David Thorpe and to help deliver local and national objectives to support Members and their businesses across Lincolnshire, Samantha hopes that by appointing a woman as Area Leader, the FSB will encourage more women entrepreneurs to attend events
2020
Our headcount has grown three-fold since we first moved into Greetwell Place in 2016. Our new office space provides plenty of room for ambitious future growth plans, as well as better social distancing for staff during the current situation.
It's great news that we will be able to help more businesses with their credit control and bookkeeping. We work with clients of all sizes including small owner-managed companies, national membership organisations and large corporations.

I can’t quite believe that this October marks the 10th anniversary of My Credit Controllers Ltd! We have achieved so much, learnt from our mistakes and helped 1000’s of businesses get Paid on Time. I am so proud to share that over the last 10 years we have collected over £250 million in payments for our clients!!! Someone close to me suggested I take a step back and reflect on the journey this last decade as it is a momentous occasion, it is also a perfect opportunity to reflect on the journey so far. The idea for My Credit Controllers came about because of me working as a Financial Controller for a couple of companies and seeing the impact credit control had on their business. I have always been passionate about credit control and believe that it’s one of the most important roles in a business but for some reason it is often one of the most overlooked positions as well. Take it from me, not everyone can be a credit controller!
